Historic Elmore Memorial Hall and Athenaeum Hall is a historic building erected in 1924 to commemorate those who enlisted during World War One.. A historic federation style mansion over 2 levels with 6 luxuriously appointed and spacious queen and king sized rooms with ensuites and, a ghost or two! awaits the serious paranormal enthusiast . Just 5 minutes from the heart of Bendigo this lovingly restored mansion has a rich history and we know for a fact has spirits and some are in your rooms after living and dying there! The night includes a medium with a group reading for personal messages, then 5 hour investigation with vigils and ghost hunting equipment. Oldest hotel in Creswick is allowing intrepid investigators to book the hotel for the night and sleep in either or all of it's 3 rooms and investigate in the bar and kitchen areas when the pub is closed to the public. Can sleep from 1-8 people. So get your private group together of 1-8pax and hit us up for a date....subject to availability. Best nights Sunday to Thursday nights.(Avail. Friday and Saturday nights however you don't have access to areas until after the pub closes..you are welcome to check in, enjoy the live music, bar areas, then wait till everyone leaves)

The Mechanics institute in Romsey, built in 1875, is a perfect building to hone your spiritual skills and connect with spirit...yours and the venues! The institute has been many things...a ballroom, boxing rink, roller-skating rink, "picture show man" and was the social hub for functions, meetings, parties etc and still is. We have investigated the Kyneton Museum, Rochester Hotel, Odessa at Leavers Hotel Creswick and Creswick Courthouse, Great Western Hotel Ballan, Kyneton Bluestone Theatre, Mechanics Institute in Kyneton, Lancefield and Romsey, Bishops Palace, Barwon Manor, Lancefield Old Bush Hospital, Craig's Royal Hotel, Blackwood Pub, Victoria Hotel woodend. The Kyneton Museum felt like the original bank manager was still there guarding his gold along with the long suffering maid in the kitchen. Odessa at Leavers Creswick has a lot of chatter at the bar which we attributed to the "Soiled Doves" still entertaining the miners, and the miners still having a drink. There were also knocks, gadgets going beserk and an air vent grate moving on its own accord. The courthouse at Creswick saw larakin Charlie in the lock up swing the light cord and set off the Trifield meter. We have since helped to reunite Charlie with his mother and moved on the sinister bully Steve and his crew in the courthouse. A real ladies man...not! He was particularly threatening to the ladies and was bullying a female spirit entrapped by him. Great Western Hotel Ballan has its resident Mary Hanrahan who was killed in her hotel room by fire. She has been seen by staff and the back area saw shadows, awful smells coming and going along with general creepy feelings of being watched. Blackwood Hotel has a Sam in the kitchen who throws spatulas and has been seen by staff. Mrs Cruise the second owner of the pub still resides their with her kids keeping out the rif raf! She has been seen as well. We enlightened the spirit stuck in the male toilets who used to open the door...he was confused and stuck so we set him free... Kyneton Bluestone Theatre has Esther the stage spirit and a lighting guy who tries to turn the lights on for us. There was a nasty bully acting as the priest so we pushed him through his heavenly doors.
And the Mechanics Institute in Lancefield has George and his girls who like a dance, plus Bob who greets us a the door. Barwon Manor has it's 2 previous owners still there Elizabeth Austin and Syd Batson, and some maids still running around for Elizabeth who firmly believes the house is still hers even though she died their in 1910. Similarly at Craig's Royal Hotel Ballarat where Walter Craig overseas all and still has his lift operator in the the lift who has also been seen. The Lancefield Old Hospital Guesthouse was a pub prior that burnt to the ground and former owners Patrick and Adelaide look after their guests. Although not sure of who the girl is that jumps on the bed and locks people in the room! At the Victoria Hotel we corrected 1950's theatre gal's name to Gwendolyn and moved on a negative spirit that didn't want to be there and was blocking Gwendolyn from having free reign of the pub.
