Public Statement: Addressing Defamation and False Allegations
Published: June 2026
This page serves as the official public record and response regarding a highly orchestrated smear campaign, targeted harassment, and recent media segments circulating online regarding Dolly and Kyneton Paranormal.
Without ever conducting a genuine conversation with our team, a recent television broadcast chose to air an "investigation" built entirely on the narratives of a coordinated group of rival pages and detractors. While the network technically reached out prior to airing, they completely refused to disclose the specific allegations being made. Knowing this was an ambush designed to fit a pre-written, defamatory narrative, I chose not to participate.
To ensure the truth is clearly documented on the public record, I am outlining the absolute facts below.
The Origin of the Campaign
This situation began following an investigation into a 60-year-old cold case. During our sessions, my intent was to reach out to the murderous suspects, not the victims or their grieving families. A cousin of the victim left a highly abusive comment on our channel, which was deleted. To be absolutely clear: had the family simply reached out and asked me to remove the video, I would have obliged immediately. The video in question has since been completely removed.
Defamation, Homophobia, and Threats
Following that deleted comment, a coordinated attack was launched. My channel and my videos were reposted by creators who monetize outrage—making their money by inciting hate and recording reaction videos to my content.
Disgustingly, the attacks turned intensely personal and homophobic. Vile insinuations were made that, as a gay woman, I "groom my girls," alongside baseless claims that I prey on families' grief. This escalating abuse crossed the line into severe cyberbullying and death threats. All harassment, alongside the channels inciting it, has been reported to the police and cyber safety authorities.
The $8,000 Fabrication
Rumors were further fueled by an off-the-cuff joke a friend made on a game show.
- Claims that I charge $8,000—or any amount—for "spiritual cleansings" or "exorcisms" are ludicrous and completely false.
- I hire local venues strictly to host tours and conduct investigations.
- There are no demons at these locations, and I do not offer, nor do I know how to perform, exorcisms.
- The individual who made the joke is deeply apologetic and is currently dealing with her lawyer and the network regarding this matter.
The Reality of Kyneton Paranormal
- I am not an exorcist or house cleanser. I am an investigator, not a psychic medium. I work alongside an amazing team, and our sole aim is to document the unexplained and investigate historical mysteries.
- I do not exploit grief. My focus is on producing video content for entertainment purposes. I seek the truth of what happened in unexplained mysteries and cold cases. In fact, in many of our cases, we work directly with families who actively seek us out to help find the truth. I absolutely do not financially exploit anyone.
To those who are determined to keep spreading hate without ever bothering to seek the actual truth: that is the path you have chosen, but it is one I will never engage in.
Those who know me know the true me: I am kind, generous, considerate, honest, and funny. I am a loving soul who genuinely enjoys watching people smile. I absolutely refute every single one of these vile claims.
To those who actually watch our videos and support the channel: thank you for knowing the truth. We will not be bullied into silence.
